Mac Version 2022 will not auto recall last check written.

When I changed to 2022 version I have lost the auto recall function for checks. It will recall the previous transaction for the Expense tab, but it will not recall for the Items tab. I spent a little over an hour with tech support about 8 weeks ago. We rebuilt and verified the file. He looked through all my settings. Created a new user. Deleted a file in the library. At the end of the call he said he was reporting to the engineers and to expect a fix in the next update. There have been 3 updates since then and it still doesn't work.

It was in March when I called. Unfortunately since tech support said he documented it and it would be fixed in the next update or two, I didn't write down a case number.

Thanks for getting back to us, @npicklo.

Let's get this sorted out. I understand you've already contacted support about the auto-recall option. To confirm, did you get an email from Intuit? After the ticket is created, you'll get an email whenever an update to the resolution is available.

In the meantime, you'll want to repair the program. This tool fixes program-related issues including the auto-recall option. For the step-by-step instructions, please check out this guide: Repair your QuickBooks Desktop.

Once done, check the auto-recall option again. If you're experiencing the same result, please contact our Customer Care Support again. They can check your previous ticket and assist you further.

Here's the link to reach out: Contact QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

Additionally, feel free to visit Little Square - Intuit QuickBooks for Mac for more help articles to guide you along.

With the above recommendation, you should be able to fix the auto-recall option. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have other questions about checks. I'm more than happy to assist you. Take care and have a good one.

Actually, no, I never received an email from Intuit.

The link to the repair tool is for Windows. My operating system is Mac, and Quickbooks for Mac.

As follow up, when I was on with tech support. We did delete Quickbooks and installed a fresh copy. It didn't resolve the issue either.
