My PayPal credit account has not updated in 8 days. The PayPal bank account seems fine. Have done all the troubleshooting, even cleared cache.

I was even on online chat, but got disconnected after clearing cache.  Anyone know what's going on?

Thanks for performing the steps necessary to update your PayPal credit account. Let’s try some new ones to get your online banking working again.


Since you already cleared the cache, the next thing to do is perform a manual update. This process refreshes the connection between QuickBooks and PayPal.


Here’s how:

 

  1. Go to Banking on the left panel, then select Banking.
  2. On the Bank and Credit Cards page, select PayPal,
  3. Click on the Update button.
  4. If prompted, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) information, then choose Continue update.

If you receive an error code, I recommend following the troubleshooting steps in this article. You can proceed directly to the Fix specific banking errors section.

 

In case there are missing transactions in QBO, you'll have to download them manually from your bank's website and import them into QuickBooks via WebConnect.


With these steps, you should be able to start accepting new transactions.

well, all has been done and still nothing.  Was just on chat online for the last hour.  deleted accounts and tried to add back, but only PayPal Bank will come in, PayPal Credit is not even showing as an option to connect.  very frustrating.  any other ideas?

I'd like to inform you that we currently have an ongoing issue wherein customers are unable to connect their PayPal account into QuickBooks Online. Our engineers are now working to get this resolved as timely as possible.

 

For now, I'd suggest reaching out to our Customer Care Team as they can pull up your account information in a secure environment. This way you'll be able to receive updates about this concern as soon as they become available.

Thank you.  I have reached out to customer care.  Unable to fix and told me to contact PayPal.  PayPal unable to fix.  Guess I have to wait for technical to figure this out?

I want to add myself to the list of people having issues with connecting to Paypal Credit. 

 

My regular Paypal account and my Paypal Credit account are both attached to the same login. I use just one login at paypal.com to access both of those accounts. It used to work fine in Quickbooks, but recently (last week), I started having problems with the connection to paypal credit. I disconnected it and tried reconnecting based on instructions provided here in the community but all it offers me to connect to is my regular paypal account (which is already connected).

So frustrating! Hope you guys figure this out soon.

As of the moment, we still have an open investigation where users like you are unable to connect to PayPal Credit.

 

Rest assured our Online Banking Team are all hands in working to fix this error connection.

 

The same as mentioned by my colleagues above, you'll be notified through your email once you've been added to the list of affected users.

This problem has been reoccurring for months, there's posts about this issue from October last year. Quickbooks, not connecting with PayPal? Hmmm. You keep saying your engineers are working on it. 6 months to resolve? It doesn't feel particularly urgent on your to do list. Is it Quickbooks or Paypal that's causing the problem....it used to work, now it doesn't.
