Payment to Vendor

Can we make a payment to Vendor with recurring payment in Quickbooks online UI? If yes could you help to guide me?

And do you know how about the API to create payment to Vendor?

Thanks

Payment to Vendor

Hi Tu Tu!

I can see that you posted the same concern twice. My colleagues shared an answer to this question. Please click this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/employees-and-payroll/pay-with-direct-deposit/00/7....

In addition, we're unable to set up a recurring payment to vendors in QuickBooks Online. You'll want to look for a third-party application like bill.com. Visit the Apps tab for more.

Keep your posts coming if you have more questions. I'll be here!

Thanks for your answer. Regarding the other question, I think they're different because one is the "pay with direct deposit", other is payment for vendor. Sorry if that make you're confused.

Thank you

Payment to Vendor

It's a requirement to have an active payroll service if you want to pay your vendors via direct deposit, Tu Tu.

However, you can also visit our apps page: QuickBooks Apps Store. You can search for a third-party app that can enable you to send a payment to your vendors through direct deposit.

Here's an article as an alternative as well: Set up a bank transfer to a vendor. It requires the Online Bill Pay app, and this payment is through a bank transfer.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Is there a cost to use the payment to vendor with a debit card

Thank you for joining the thread, @Beau0728.

Paying your bills using a debit card is for free. QuickBooks Online (QBO) only charge a fee when you use a credit card to pay your bills. To learn how to pay a bill with a debit card, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click the + New button, then select Pay bills.
  2. In the Payment account drop-down, select the bank account associated with your debit card.
  3. Enter the payment date and put Debit in the Starting check no. field to show it was a debit card purchase.
  4. Select the bill you want to pay.
  5. Click Save and close.

I'm adding this article for more details: How to pay a bill with a credit or debit card.
