I don't know what has changed with QBO, but over the last few weeks most of our invoice payments through ACH are being delayed a week or more and now being marked "In Review." This has never preciously occurred. We used to run them and then they were paid in a day or two but now that has stretched out extensively and I'm beginning to think there's a serious issue with the software and we need to switch. It seemed to come about when the AI update was pushed out. Has anyone else been experiencing this recently? Thanks
Let me provide some information about the In Review status in your payments, Jay.
If you notice a recent payment you accepted is marked In Review, this means our team needs to review the payment to make sure everything's alright. We do this to protect the interests of all parties involved in the payment process. Once the money is deposited into your bank account, the status will change to Deposited.
To address this, I'd suggest checking your email for notifications. If there are any issues, we'll send you a message with steps on how you can rectify them. Just follow the steps in the email as soon as you can.
If the issue persists after several days, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Payments support team. They can thoroughly review your account in a secure environment to investigate the cause of the issue.

Shoot me a reply if you have other payment-related concerns in QuickBooks, Jay. I'll be around to ensure you're taken care of. Take care!
@jay87 Nothing has changed; you were simply lucky enough to avoid getting stepped on until now.
Probably 30% of this community's posts revolve around Intuit holding people's money for silly amounts of time.
Thanks, but this is of no help and will not speed up my deposits. Please do not suggest that I pay more either to Intuit for their quick deposit feature. I understand how the deposits function, but this is not acting as it was weeks ago.
Unfortunately, I can believe that. I think maybe they're holding onto the money longer so they can pull in more interest lining their pockets before passing it back to it's users.
I'm having the same issue for the firs time ever! There are no emails, but I have payments "in review" since July. 5 days is not it!!
I understand your feelings, Monica. I would probably feel the same way in your situation. Let me connect you with our designated support team to investigate why your payments are still showing as "In Review."
When a payment is marked as "In Review," it doesn't necessarily indicate any issue with the payment. It just means we need to take a closer look at it. We regularly review payments to ensure their accuracy, which benefits everyone involved in the process.
You will receive an email in the email address used to sign in to the Merchant Service Center. It contains instructions and information about the reason for this action, including the documents we may require from you.

Same issue! For the second time already! We came to rely on the time frames: clients pay before 5pm via ACH - we get payment in the bank next day. We are small business with tight margins - we cannot afford waiting 5 days or more! All small businesses need their money yesterday!
The only reason for this is they want to use our money to make money while we our our employees who live pay check to paycheck have to wait 5 + days!
Same here!
First delayed payment happened supposedly due the the sum being too large. Had to wait week and multiple phone calls, begging etc. This time not too large amounts (30K each) but two payments delayed at the same time!
