Paypal accounting issues, anyone else having trouble?

Thanks for reaching out to us today, sales4,

I want to make sure you're able to connect with your PayPal account.

May I know what specific error message you are getting? Also, what connection type are you referring to, is it the Sync with PayPal app, PayPal Bank Feeds or the Connect to PayPal app? Any details about the issue will help us come up with a fix.

In the meantime, if the issue affects your bank feeds, let's try manually updating your bank to receive updated transactions. Here's how:

  1. From the navigation panel, click on Banking.
  2. On the Banking page, click the bank then select Update.

You can also refer to the troubleshooting steps on this article if the manual update does not fix the connection problem: Fix Online Banking Errors in QuickBooks Online

If you're referring to something else, please feel free to fill me in whenever you have the chance. I'm looking forward to your response, sales4. Have a good one!

Paypal accounting issues, anyone else having trouble?

I deleted pay pal connection because it has been 2 weeks since it last updated. With an error message to try again later. I attempted to resync. It never goes past the give permission screen. The wheel keeps spinning. I have cleared cookies/cache, I am using chrome under a user that I specifically only use for QBO, rebooted PC. I mean this really needs to be fixed. Please help. I am the admin on my client's book. It is not working

Paypal accounting issues, anyone else having trouble?

This has been reported to our engineers, cjgoals7.

They are still gathering data for their investigation. I recommend contacting Customer Care Support to get your account on the notification list.

Just click (?) Help, and then Contact us.

In the meantime, you can import your Paypal transactions manually by following these steps:

  1. Click Apps from the left menu.
  2. Click My Apps at the top.
  3. Locate the Sync with PayPal app card.
  4. Select Settings on the Sync with PayPal app card.
  5. A new tab opens. Click Run in the Manual Import section.
  6. Once there, enter the desired date range then click Run.
