Schedule invoices to be taken from an estimate

Is there a way to create an estimate, then schedule invoices to be automatically created from that estimate, and sent, on a monthly/weekly basis?

I do not want to set up a recurring invoice, as I want the estimate to be there, so it is shown in the monthly reports.

Schedule invoices to be taken from an estimate

Hi there, @Truetruetrue.

The option to automatically create invoices out of estimates is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You'll have to manually convert the estimates into an invoice. I'd recommend checking out for a third-party app that offers this feature. You can look for an app in the Apps center. Simply log in to QuickBooks Online and go to the Apps menu and search for the app from there.

Moreover, you can send a suggestion to our product developers. That way, they can review your feedback and give them a hint on how to improve the product. Here's how:

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top and click Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then, select Next to submit feedback.

Do you create estimates, bids, quotes, or proposals for prospective customers before you start a job? You can create your estimates in QuickBooks, email them to customers, and then convert them into invoices after you complete the work. Here’s how you do it.
