Setup for receiving PayPal and Venmo from invoices

Using QBO Simple Start for less than a month using MacOS. I see that QBO has the ability to accept customer payments from PayPal and Venmo. I don’t see anywhere on where/how this can be activated in QBO. What am I missing? Thanks.

Setup for receiving PayPal and Venmo from invoices

I'm here to ensure you can receive customer payments through PayPal and Venmo, EBC.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) offers the option for your customers to pay e-invoices with PayPal and Venmo. All you need is a QuickBooks Payment account. To subscribe to this plan, we can sign in to our QBO account and go to the Invoice window. Refer to this image for visual reference.

Do I need to separately set up a business Paypal or Venmo account to accept these payment methods from customers?

Thanks for joining the thread, @BrightSide1. We have details about using PayPal and Venmo to manage customer invoice payments inside QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you accept Venmo or PayPal payments from your customers, you'll want to connect both accounts to your QBO company. This way, when they pay their invoices, it goes directly to the account you have inside QuickBooks. We'll write down the steps below to get you going:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  3. Click Link Account.
  4. Enter the URL or name of your bank in the Search field, then select the bank.
  5. Enter your Sign info in the Login and Password fields, then select Continue.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Feel free to check this page for more details: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.
