Join nowHi,
I am looking for automating a process for when payments have been received in QuickBooks Desktop. Not everyone is required to access QuickBooks, therefore we have a list in SharePoint to provide users who are not permitted to use the QuickBooks desktop app. The SharePoint display certain info of the customer and we want to display if the customer has paid an invoice or not via SharePoint. Payments are recorded in QuickBooks app.
Is there a way I can achieve this or at least something similar that is automated?
Any help will be much appreciated.
I appreciate you for sharing your detailed query, Jorzino. Let me provide information about syncing data to Sharepoint.
Automating the process of updating SharePoint when payments are received in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) would involve third-party integration services to connect and allow for automatic data transfer between the two platforms.
I recommend reaching out to SharePoint Support for assistance with configuring this integration to ensure that the information about whether a customer has paid an invoice is displayed accurately in SharePoint for users who don't have access to the QBDT app.
Once everything's good, you can generate reports to track your finances within the program.
I've also included this article for reference when you encounter company file issues in the future: Fix data damage on your QuickBooks Desktop company file.
I can always provide the necessary information about handling payments in QBDT. Should you need further clarification, leave a comment below. You can count on me at any time.
