Sales Filter Bug

It seems there was an update to the sales page filter (found under Invoicing->All Sales->then select custom filter) and it introduced a bug. I can no longer get just one day in the past, I have to filter for two days. For example if I want to only see sales for 8/18/22, I used to be able to select this date for both the start and end date.

Now it seems an update made it where I have to select the next day so instead of getting only one days worth of sales, I now have to get two days. Ex. now I must select start date as 8/18/22 and end date of 8/19/22 instead of end date 8/18/22

Sales Filter Bug

Let me help you get your invoices show the chosen date, downriverspeech.

I've tried checking this on my end and see no changes in the custom filter. The invoice for 08/18/2022 generate, and there are no other dates of invoices appearing. Here's my sample screenshot:

I'd appreciate if you can share a screenshot so I can check it further. Though, there are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, thus causing some unusual responses or results. Let's isolate this by accessing your QBO account using a different or a private browser.

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox ).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once logged in, let's go back to the All Sales tab and check if you're still getting the same outcome. If it works fine, go back to your default browser and clear the cache to remove temporary internet files on your computer. For the completed steps, we can use this article: Delete browser cache and Intuit-specific cookies.

Also, we can use other supported web browsers in QBO: Supported on both web and mobile devices

I've gathered some articles where we can get details about managing customers and income:

Please know that I'm only a post away if you have concerns about viewing invoices and other transactions within your QBO account. I'll be glad to assist you with any of your QuickBooks concerns.

Sales Filter Bug

It seems you have the old view which works. I mentioned it looked updated and it was. See attached for how my filter is now with the date error @SarahannC

Sales Filter Bug

Thank you for the screenshot, downriverspeech.

Yes, the new design requires at least two days when filtering a transaction period. I recommend sending your feedback about this new update while it's still in the beta stage. Just click the Feedback hypertext next to Sales transactions, as shown on your screenshot.

Apparently, your interface is slightly different from mine. I have a Beta indicator, which allows me to exit from the new interface when I click on it. Are you using a tablet? Please sign in using a computer and click the said indicator to switch back to the old design.

On the other hand, if you want to check out some references for QBO, just visit the main support page and click More topics.

Let me know if you have any other questions in mind. Take care and have a good one!
