I sense that you are frustrated and I would be, too.  It shouldn't be taking that long. Are you able to log into your merchant services account and see the status of the payment? Does your customer show the money coming out of his account? Is it possible the money was routed to the wrong bank account?

Allow me to share a couple of steps and info to ensure you can handle your customer payments seamlessly in QuickBooks, @bkastrinos @Victoria19.

QuickBooks batches and submits your credit card payments daily at 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time or 6:00 PM Eastern Time. Usually, funds or deposits reach your bank account within 2-3 business days. The waiting period, however, varies depending on the following factors:

  • The time when you enter these transactions.
  • The financial institution to deposit the funds.
  • Bank policies for verifying and processing electronic deposits.

Also, the approximate wait time for credit card payments to be transferred to your bank would take 5-7 banking days, while ACH deposits may take 7-10 business days.

You can go to your Merchant Service account and check the status of the processed payments from there. Let me guide you how:

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. From the homepage, select Activities & Reports.
  3. Choose Deposits, and then select the date range in the Dates field.
  4. Click Search.
  5. You'll see a list of all your daily deposits amount, date, status, and their respective totals.

If you're still unable to receive the funds in the allotted time, I'd recommend getting in touch with our QuickBooks Payments Support. This way, they can check your account securely and help review the status of your deposits.

In case you want to view your monthly statement, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the homepage.
  2. Select the Activity & Reports tab and then choose All Statements.
  3. Find the month you want to see and select View.
  4.  You can also select Download to get a PDF for your records.

Lastly, if you have other queries about QuickBooks Payments, you can check out this handy article for more insights and tips: QuickBooks Payments FAQ.

I keep seeing stuff like this over and over. Seems to be a very common issue with Quickbooks-not being paid out in a timely manner. I too have been waiting for payment from a customer of mine. Quickbooks customer support has been zero help, no real answers, just tries to pass me off to the next guy. Super annoying compared to other services where money is paid out immediately or actually within the 1-2 business days. Once my payment goes through (if it ever does) I will be cancelling this horrible service.

Hope you eventually received your payment from your customer. So annoying..
