Why does it take so long for my funds to be available after a deposit from an existing customer?

Hello there, flesllc. I'm here to provide details about your deposit speeds and when QuickBooks deposits your funds in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Deposit speeds vary based on the product you're using and the type of payment. Standard deposits are processed daily, except on Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Instant Deposits, however, are processed every day of the year without exception.

If this is your first set of customer payments, we will deposit your funds within five business days after receiving your initial payment. This initial period allows us to properly set up your merchant account. While your first batch of payments may also take up to five business days to process, rest assured that once your account is fully established, future payments will be processed much faster, typically within two business days.

Please refer to this article for more details: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

If your deposit processing time exceeds the expected timeframe outlined above, I recommend reaching out to our support team. They will be able to securely access your account, investigate the status, and determine the reason for the delay in availability. This will ensure that any issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.

Additionally, you can refer to this article if you notice a recent payment you accepted is on hold: Learn about funds on hold in QuickBooks Payments.

Please let us know if you have other concerns about your deposits in QBO, flesllc. We're here to help you in any way we can.
