card reader with desktop pro

We paid for the ability to accept online payments for Quickbooks Pro Desktop 2021, set up the banking and have been receiving payments.  We were sent a free chip and magstripe reader but we don't know how to set it up for use with the desktop PC.  The instructions say to download the Quickbooks Accounting or GoPayment App from the App Store or Google Play.  Is there a video tutorial for this?

I’m happy to know that you already have your free chip and magstripe reader. Let me help point you in the right direction on how to download the GoPayment app and install the device.


We’ll have to get the download link from our Payments Support Team to lodge the app. To accomplish this task, visit this site and go to the Try it out today section: QuickBooks GoPayment app.payment link.png


Then enter your phone number in the search box and hit the Text me the link button. After installing the application, make sure to configure the card reader. This way, you can now start accepting customer payments seamlessly.
