Can't reset password after using verification code to login

I forgot my QB Time login password and be able to login again using the one-time verification code through email. However, when I try to change the password under Profile.  It diverts me to the page where I need to enter my password or the phone number.  There is no way I can enter my password because I forgot my password, and the phone number is not in use anymore.  Is there a way I can change my password?

Can't reset password after using verification code to login

Thanks for raising your concern here with us in the Community, @WW15. Worry less. It's always our priority to ensure you can reset your password and access your account successfully.

We understand how essential it is to manage your login information to access your QuickBooks account. We can follow the process below to help recover your account if you forgot your user ID or password but still have access to your email on file.

  1. Go to our sign-in help page.
  2. Enter the email address or user ID for your account.
  3. If you enter an email address, you can receive a verification code on your email. If you enter a user ID, choose which method you prefer.
  4. Add the verification code we sent, or follow the instructions in the message. After that, you need to add more information to verify.
  5. When prompted, reset your password. Or, you can select Skip.

Once you get back into your account, you can update your email address, phone number, and password or go right to your product to receive verification codes from us for future sign-in attempts.

However, if you lost access to your phone or email address, you can use the account recovery form in this article: Recover your Intuit Account. This article also includes additional details about the processing time of your recovery request.
