QB Time - Can't see employee timesheets

I have two employees that are able to use QB Time to clock in and out, but I can't see their timesheets as the admin. They have sent me screenshots of their timesheets from the app, so it's clear that they are able to login and track their time with our company, but for some reason their timesheets don't show up on my end. They never show up in the "Who's Working" window, I can't find their timesheets in any of the reports, and when I look at their names under "My Team" it says it's been weeks since they last clocked in (which I know is not accurate). Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

We are having the same issue with multiple employees. Intuit support just tells me to have them uninstall and reinstall the app but that is not fixing the problem. I am even getting partial weeks for some employees that do come through but the rest of the week only shows on their app and does not sync to the website. This is going to be a deal breaker for us unfortunately. I do not have time to call each employee every week to compare what I have to what their app shows. I loved Tsheets but this is unacceptable.

I hate to hear what's been going on in your QuickBooks Time account, but I hope you'll give me the opportunity to help out.

 

My recommendation in this instance would be to do what's called a "Force Sync." This action does just that and forces the applications to sync and match what your employees see on their side to what you see on your side. Here's how to get this done:

 

1. Navigate to the Profile bubble in the top left.

2. Locate the area that says "Last sync (date and time)."

3. Click the two arrows going in a circle to force sync it.

I realize this is a year old and I may not get an answer here. But, I'm having this issue, and "Last Sync" is not an option that shows up when I select the profile icon - at least not for me. I'm hourly and clock in and out like our other hourly employees, but I'm also an admin. Don't know if that makes a difference. One of my employees constantly has this problem and I can't determine the cause, all of his settings appear to be appropriate per all recommended solutions. Could you provide advice on this problem that is more up-to-date, given the app went through a change last year?

It's strange that the Last sync isn't an option for you when you go to the Profile icon. If you and your employee are utilizing the QuickBooks Time app, the timesheet should be visible since the app is design to sync on its own.

 

You can try the troubleshooting steps listed below if you and your employee experience problems with the app:

 

  • Get the latest version of QuickBooks Time.
  • Log out of the app and log back in. This will force a sync, bring over, and update data regarding new jobs or job updates, among other things. To do this, click Profile, then tap Sign Out.
  • Uninstalled and then reinstalled the app again. Before doing so, if necessary, your employee can take a screenshot of timesheets to replicate the time in the future.

 

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Time Support. They have the resources to access your account and look into the problem's root causes.
