Hello there, finance_ph.
If you have a QuickBooks Desktop data file (QBW) from the previous bookkeeping company. And don't have a QuickBooks Desktop license, you have a few options to correct transactions affecting your 2024 reporting without subscribing to the desktop version.
You can download and install the QuickBooks Desktop trial version, which allows you to open and work with the QBW file for a limited time (usually 30 days). During the trial period, you can make the required corrections and export the data to a format compatible with QuickBooks Online.
If you are ready to download and install the trial version, please visit this link. Download a trial of QuickBooks Desktop.
Once you're prepared to transfer your company data, please refer to this guide: Prepare your QuickBooks Desktop file for migration to QuickBooks Online.
