Change the name in QuickBooks Time

How do I get rid of the (1) after my name in Display Name (see screenshot).  I know it is synced with QuickBooks online but I can't find this anywhere in QuickBooks online.  I'm not listed under Employees.  If it helps I have QuickBooks Accountant.  Under Your Team my name is correct - does not have a (1).  Under Payroll there are no employees.

Change the name in QuickBooks Time

Hi there,

I have some information that will help clear up any confusion and get rid of the number that appears in QuickBooks Time's Display Name.

The number or specific name distinction will only be shown if duplicate profiles are added. Additionally, keep in mind that there is also an option to import vendors or contractors as team members when you integrate QuickBooks Online with QuickBooks Time. Therefore, the profile labeled "(1)" could be listed as either a vendor or a contractor. This is because QuickBooks Online doesn't allow employees, vendors, or contractors to have the same name.

That being said, I recommend searching for the team member's profile in QuickBooks Online's vendor or contractor lists to change the display name.

For more information on managing team members in QuickBooks Time, see this article: Add and manage team members in QuickBooks Time.

If you have any additional concerns or questions about QuickBooks Time, let me know in the comments. I'd be happy to assist.

Change the name in QuickBooks Time

I was really hopeful.  I made "Darren Greenspoon" inactive in the Suppliers.  I also checked customers and "Darren Greenspoon" is not there.  I then did an import sync in Quickbooks Time.  I then signed out of Quickbooks Time and signed back in and nothing changed.  SORRY!
