Clock in setings

Hi everyone,

Is there a feature to set a locked clock-in time where employes can't clock in until 7 for example?

Thank you!

Clock in setings

Hi there, @Tcapouch44.

I understand the importance of setting a clock-in time for your employees in QuickBooks Time (QBT). Let me share an insight about this feature you want to have in your QuickBooks account.

Currently, the feature to set a locked clock-in time where employees can't clock in before the specific time is unavailable. For now, I suggest sending a feature request. Your feedback will help us improve your QBO Time experience and will be shared with our Product Development Team.

Here's how:

  1. At the upper right, select the Help Icon.
  2. Click the Suggest Idea.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then, click Send Idea to submit a feedback.

If you need to track and update the time spent by your team members, you can use the following articles as references:

Please feel free to drop a comment below, if you have any other concerns about clock-in time or other QB Time-related concerns. I will answer them in any possible way.

@Tcapouch44

The feature is not available in QB Time. You can find it in a 3d party time tracking app.

Let me share some information regarding this matter, jordangecko

As of now, being able to set a locked clock-in time is not yet available in QuickBooks Time (QBT). I recommend that you submit a suggestion so that our product developer can consider it. Please be aware that there is no set timeframe for when this functionality will be available or integrated into the QBT.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help Icon located at the upper right.
  2. Select the Suggest Idea option.
  3. Type your product suggestions.
  4. Then, click Send Idea
