Quickbooks Time - Admin question

I have two employees on salary, and the rest on hourly. The two salary employees are admin and need access to Time to review time cards, etc. However, because they are salary employees, I do not need them to track their hours. I just upgraded to Elite, but wanted to know if is it possible to avoid the $10/month/each employee with access to Time, and still give them access to other employees' hours? They don't need to track their time, just manage others'.

Quickbooks Time - Admin question

I'm here to share some details about this, ProstructInc.

In QuickBooks Payroll Elite, we're unable to waive the $10 fee for the two employees. When you run the payroll, the fee will be automatically charged.

As a workaround, you'll want to consider manually running payroll for these employees outside the program.

Regarding access, admins have all permissions. They are allowed to track and manage employee time, including their own. To prevent this, I suggest adding them as a Payroll Manager instead. For more details, please see this article: Team Member Settings and Permissions in QuickBooks Time.

Once done, your payroll managers can create time off for your team members and approve or deny time off requests or approve, unapprove, and reject timesheets in QuickBooks Time on the web dashboard.

Please keep us posted if you need additional assistance managing your employees' access or payroll. We're always here to help you out.
