TSheets

Is there a way to change the settings so that only employee first names are seen in Tsheets? Or even use a nickname for TSheets and the employees legal name for Quickbooks payroll?

Thanks for sharing your ideas with me, @Murphygen.

As of now, the option to use nicknames or to only have your employee's first name shown in TSheets isn’t possible.

I recognize having the preference you want is a great additional featured to add to the program. Rest assured our Development team is always looking for new ways in enhancing TSheets and QuickBooks.

Hello @brookbello777,

Let me help share why a time activity is asking for a donor or customer's name in TSheets.

To start with, if you're tracking an employee time activity billable to customers, they'll be asked to select a customer before the clock on. If you wish to remove a customer associated with an employee, you can do so by following the steps below:

  1. Open your Tsheets account.
  2. Go to Customers.
  3. Select the Pencil icon.
  4. Remove the checkmark on the Assign to Everyone option.

On top of that, I've also included this reference for a compilation of articles you can use while working with us: TSheets by QuickBooks.

If you have any other questions, please let me know by leaving any comments below. I'll be here to lend a helping hand.

Hey there, @RUTHD

It's great to see someone new chiming in on this thread. I can help you sort the names by last names in your QuickBooks Time account.

All you need to do is a few simple clicks to sort the names. Here's how:

  1. Open QB Time.
  2. Go to the My Team tab.
  3. Press the Last Name header to sort them.

It's that quick and easy.

Should you need any further assistance, don't hesitate to reply back. I'm always here to lend a helping hand. Bye for now!
