Web Connector Password

How do you find out your Web Connector Password?

I loaded QB2021 and my Connection to TSheets is requiring a Password on the File/App Management/Update Web Service.

I do not have the 4 character password from the original setup and cannot find where it is.

Web Connector Password

Let me address your concern about the Web Connector password, RL Vickers.

A password is set for your application before you update or sync it with QuickBooks. Since you don’t have one, I suggest contacting your application’s support so they can help you with getting a password.

This article will help you fix common issues with Web Connector in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Refer to QBWC1030: Password is not available for applicationFix common Web Connector errors in QuickBooks Desktop.

Web Connector Password

Found it....

You must add the Web Connector for TSheets application under QB menu File/App Management/Update Web Services

You can then find the password under QB menu item Edit/Preferences/Integrated Applications/Company Preferences by selecting the application and reauthorizing it. Scroll down the open menu and carefully look for the password in the window. Take note of the 4 number password.

You must then go back to QB menu File/App Management/Update Web Services and enter and save the password at the Application Password box.

Simple right????
