Submission of manual timesheets

I'll share guidelines to help you submit your timesheets for approval.

In QuickBooks Time, you won't be able to edit your hours after submitting your timesheet unless your admin or manager rejects it. To review and submit timesheets, your admin must ensure to turn on that feature. Then, here is how to submit timesheets:

  1. Go to Track Time, then Timesheets.
  2. Select More, then Submit time.
  3. Choose the dates, then select Submit.
  4. Click Submit again to confirm.

If the option is not visible, you can perform basic troubleshooting steps to see if it is a browser issue. Sometimes, your search engine's cache and cookies become corrupted, causing problems when accessing websites or opening files. To begin, open your QBO account in an incognito window. It will prevent the browser history from being saved. Please refer to the following keyboard shortcuts based on your browser type:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If the private browsing session works, clear the browser's cache so the system can restart. This task is also possible in other supported, up-to-date browsers. Clearing the cache will reboot the system, allowing you to work with clearing stocked cache and cookies that causing the issues.
