Adding missing customer invoices from last fiscal year

I have several customer invoices & payments from 2021 that never synced over from my 3rd party app to QBO and that year is now closed/taxed. How should those transactions be added to the books?

Adding missing customer invoices from last fiscal year

Hi there, @clw28.

Thanks for coming to the QuickBooks Community. I’d be happy to help find your entered customers.

Let's start by checking the inactive customer list. Here's how:

  1. On the Customers page, click the small Gear icon above Action on the right side.
  2. Checkmark the Include Inactive checkbox.
  3. If you see the missing customer, click the Make Active option to bring them back to the Active list.

If you still can't see them, let's troubleshoot your browser by using a private browsing or incognito window (depending on your browser. Here's how:

For Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N

For Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P

For Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P

For Safari: Command + Shift + N

Private browsing disables the cache from saving new browsing history

If you can now see the missing customer, go back to your regular browsers and clear its cache. Otherwise, try using a different browser.

Get back to this post if you have other concerns. I'm always around to guide you.
