We use ADP Workforce Now for our payroll processing. We cannot get out GL to import into QB Online and we have tried and retried to set it up. I read that ADP RUN works really well with this, however it is recommended for businesses with less than 50 employees, and we have about 225 between 2 companies. What are we doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello again. We have tried using the AXIS app with no luck. When it imports the files, instead of using our cash accounts, it creates the same accounts as expense accounts. What are we doing wrong?
I understand the importance of accurately categorizing our imported payroll data into the correct accounts, jones.
As my colleague mentioned, QuickBooks relies on the features available in the integrated app. Alternatively, if you have experienced difficulties with the import process, you may consider creating a journal entry. Also, I highly suggest seeking an accountant or tax professional to offer additional assistance and ensure you're on the right track.
Moreover, you can explore the QuickBooks App Store or directly navigate to the Apps menu in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and find third-party applications that work well with the program, ensuring seamless procedures.
Lastly, I've included some articles to help you import and export your data with QBO:
Let me know if you have additional questions concerning the payroll data process in QuickBooks. I'll be sure to offer a helping hand. Stay safe!
This did not answer my question. We have been doing journal entries. Who can I talk to about the AXIS app? We are following the import directions and its doing this.
I understand the importance of resolving this issue, @ajones1980.
With this, I recommend contacting Axis app support to investigate and resolve you concern. Their representative can conduct additional research to determine the root cause.
You can get their phone number by following this link and going to the Contact page below the App information: Axis.

Hi @ajones1980
I saw your question regarding using the Zed Axis app to import an IIF Journal Entry from ADP and making it recognise your Cash Accounts in your General Ledger but it is creating Expense Accounts instead.
Can you check that you are using the Full Account name ie it the Cash Account is a sub account of another account link BOA Checking:Cash Account as Axis matches on the GL Account Full Name, alternatively you could use the Account Number if you are using those.
Hope that helps.
