I have many Assembly items. My question is could I see one report for all Assembly, which show Maximum number you can build from the quantity on hand.
If you see below first picture Assembly item is 6008 maximum number can build 2380.
If you see below second picture Assembly item is 6307 maximum number can build 6202.
I repeat my question can i see repot which show below information

If you have any question kindly ask me.
Kind Regards,
I appreciate the complete details you've shared, @talk2khurram.
QuickBooks has an array of reports that you can generate and customize to suit your business needs. However, the ability to directly generate a Build Assembly report that will show your maximum number of assemblies is not available.
Instead, you can run the Inventory Stock Status by Item report to print the quantity on hand of your assembly item. I can guide you on how to do it.
When you build assemblies, QuickBooks automatically updates your stock of components. For the step-by-step process of building an assembly item, I'd recommend checking out this article: Track the products you manufacture. It also includes details about checking your stock and pending builds.
Also, you can customize your inventory reports to focus on the details you needed the most. You can learn more about this through this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

Hi @IamjuViel
Thanks for your reply. If I follow your solution then first I will go in my assembly items list then I will write max number for every assembly item.
If i do above what will happen.
For example my Assembly item is 6007 and I write in max box 500. Next day I built Assembly 100. After making 100 assembly i can build 400 more. But in Inventory Stock Status by Item Report Max column show 500.
For this correction again i will go Assembly item 6007 and write in max box 400.
I have thousand of Assembly items i cannot do this manually to change max quantity.
Ok. I do not want to Build Assembly report separately. Is there any report in Quickbooks which show Maximum number you can build column(Inside in any report).
Kind Regards,
Hi talk2khurram,
I see the convenience of having a report that shows the maximum quantity you can build for assembly items. However, I'd like to clarify that this is not available.
The only way to find out the maximum quantity is to check it in the Build Assembly window. The one you pointed out in your first screenshot.
On the other hand, the Max quantity of an assembly item and in the report shown by my colleague is user-defined information. It's not based on how many you can build based on the available quantities of the assembly items. That's is why yours didn't update after you built an assembly.
Hope that this clears up everything.
