Can I create statements for Vendors that are not part of the AP account?

Hello,

I need to create statement for deposits received from clients. Of course, these are not AP transactions, but LT liabilities.

Thanks,

Your question title and the actual question do not match, but customer deposits should post to a liability account.  Then you run a report on that account and sort the report by customer if needed

Thank you for your help. I thought this was a question about "Reports" and "Accounting".

My question was specific: can I run a "Statement" for a client or a vendor that is not coded as AP, not a Report.

Thanks again.

Can I create statements for Vendors that are not part of the AP account?

Hello there, @accounts492.I'm here to give you the information regarding this matter to ensure we can straighten out the situation.

Currently, creating a vendor statement in QuickBooks Online is unavailable. What you can do is run the Transaction List by Vendor report. It shows you the transactions for each vendor.

Here's how:

  1. On the left pane, go to Reports.
  2. On the search box type in Transaction List by Vendor.
  3. Filter Transaction type.
  4. Filter account except Accounts payable.
  5. Click the date to modify, then click the Run report.
