Can I delete a line item that I put in in error?

To answer your question, yes, you can delete any item that was put in in error. Just to make sure I'm on the same page, are you referring to a line item in the bank register, or in a different area?

 

If you need to delete an item from the register, there are just a few steps to get this done. Here's how:

 

1. Click the Banking tab in the left navigation bar.

2. Make sure the correct account you need to work in is highlight blue at the top of the page.

3. Select the Go to Register link, above Action on the right side of the page.

4. Click on the entry you'd like to remove, then select Delete.

5. You'll be asked if you're sure. Click Yes to continue.

 

With this information you'll be able to remove the entry that was added by mistake. Feel free to leave a comment below if you have any other questions.

When preparing an invoice for my customer, I need to delete a few items I was charging him.  How do I delete a line item in an invoice without ending up with a large blank space in my invoice?

I need to remove some lines I incorrectly charged in an invoice.  I know you can add lines using the + sign but how can I eliminate lines.  When I deleted the incorrect lines in my invoice, I ended up with a huge blank space in the page.  Is there a correct way to handle this.  My invoice is 6 pages long and I don't want to recreate it.

I'm here to help you go over to your invoices and have those line items deleted. Let's get started.

 

To remove the huge blank space on your invoices, you can click the trash bin icon beside the line items on your invoices to delete them.

 

Let me show you how:

 

  1. Find and open the invoice.
  2. On the invoice screen, select the line item you want to delete.
  3. Click the trash bin icon.

  2. Click (?) Help at the upper right corner.
