Can I delete or make an item on the payment method list, entered there in error, disappear?

It was an eft payment from a customer that I applied to several of their invoices.

Hello there, sandy-installsub.

If you're referring to create an item or deleting it when making a payment, we're unable to do it. This can only be done within the Invoice page, where you record the items.

To correct the error, you'll need to open the invoice and modify/ add the item needed (if necessary).

  1. Open the invoice.
  2. Delete, add or change the item you want.
  3. Click Save to reflect the changes.

Another option is to delete the transaction and recreate it with the correct details and products/services.

  1. Find and open the invoice you want to delete.
  2. In the Invoice window, click More at the bottom.
  3. Choose either Delete or Void, then click Yes to confirm.
  4. Recreate invoice.

You can also check about recording payments for your additional reference.

Keep me posted on how this goes by leaving a message in this thread. I'd be glad to help you out. Take care and have a good one, sandy-installsub.

Hi sandy-installsub,

Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about correcting an item on the invoice. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at anytime.
