I'd be delighted to help walk you through in setting up a Reserve Account in QuickBooks Online. Let's get started!
Here's how:
- Click the Gear Icon.
- Choose All List.
- Select Chart of Accounts.
- Click New.
- Choose the Bank Account Type.
- As for the Detail type, it can be designated as an Asset or any other category you prefer.
- You can enter Reserve Account for the account name.
- Complete the remaining information as needed, such as "Description," "Routing Number" and "Bank Account Number".
- Click Save and Close.
That should do it! You can follow the same steps if you wish to designate a specific bank account for pledges.
