Can I restart my account. I set it up a while ago and I haven't been using it. I would like restart everything and completely rework my chart of accounts. Can I?

Yes, set up your account again, jon66.

 

QuickBooks creates default accounts displayed in your Chart of Accounts depending on the type of company you set. To reset the list of accounts, you can cancel your account and create a new one. 

 

Here's how to cancel your account: 

 

  1. Log in to your account as a Master admin. 
  2. Go to the gear icon and then select Account and settings.
  3. From the Billing & Subscription tab, go to the QuickBooks section.
  4. Select Cancel subscription or Cancel online. If you're canceling a trial, select Cancel trial.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps.

Then, sign up for your new account. To get started with QuickBooks Online, you can use these references as your guide:

If your account is 30 days or older, I would recommend to open a new blank QBO account.
