Can I save an email address in the "To" field of a custom email template?

I created a custom email template to email a report to someone every month. Is there a way to save his email address in the "To" field in the template? I would rather not have to look up his email address in my Google contacts list, copy, then paste it in the email form each time.

Thanks for checking in with us, Al Borland.

We can set an email schedule for custom reports every month in QuickBooks Online (QBO). This allows you to set up an email recurrence on your client in the To field. Just set a schedule and email information for a memorized report. Here's an article you can refer to for more details about customizing reports in QuickBooks Online.

Once you memorized a report, you can send it by email on a recurring schedule. You can send an individual report or a group report. Here's how you can do it:

  1. On the left menu click Reports.
  2. Choose Custom Reports at the top.
  3. Find the report you'd like to schedule for email and in the Action column, click Edit.
  4. Click the Set email button to turn it on.
  5. Set your desired email recurrence.
  6. Enter the email information for sending the report.
  7. If you want to send the report as an Excel file, you can put a checkmark on the Attach the report as an Excel checkbox. Otherwise, the report is sent in HTML format.
  8. Press Save.

Feel free to visit our Reports page for more insights about managing your financial reports in QuickBooks Online.

Keep in touch if you need any more assistance with this, or there's something else I can do for you. I've got your back. You have a good one.
