To resolve a paid invoice in QuickBooks Online (QBO) that was disputed, you'll need to delete the payment link to the invoice.
Here's how:
- In the left menu, click Sales.
- Go to the Invoices tab.
- Look for the paid invoice and click it to open.
- On the upper right-hand corner, click the 1 payment made link.
- Tap the payment date to open the transaction.
- Check the box for the paid invoices you wanted to delete.
- Hit More and select Delete.
- Once prompted, hit Yes.
- Press Save and close.
