Can we add docusign to our Quickbooks account?

Yes, we can integrate DocuSign Connector app in Quickbooks Online (QBO), dr14-cornell. I'll help you acquire them to get customer signatures on your sales forms.

 

In QuickBooks, the DocuSign eSignature Connector app is only available for QBO Advanced users and can be set up by the primary admins of your account. To guide you on how to get the app, refer to the steps below:

 

  1. In your QBO account, sign in as the primary admin and go to the Apps menu.
  2. Search for and select DocuSign eSignature Connector by QuickBooks.
  3. On the app details page, select Get app now.
  4. Select Agree to give QuickBooks permission to send info (such as estimates and customer details) to your DocuSign account.
  5. If you haven't created an account yet, select Create a DocuSign account. A new browser tab will open and activate your account by selecting the link in the verification email.
  6. Once done, return to the original browser and select Sign in to DocuSign. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your account successfully.

 

Please note that connecting your QuickBooks and DocuSign accounts is free. However, you need to have a DocuSign plan to use eSignature. Additionally, you can capture signatures using the QuickBooks Online mobile application. It allows you to add signatures manually through your phone using a digital pen or finger.

When searching in the QBO App Store, I cannot find  the DocuSign app.  Can you assist me? I am signed in as the primary admin.  Thank you

Please note that the DocuSign app can only connect with the QBO Advanced subscription. That could be the reason why you're unable to find the DocuSign app.

On the other hand, if you're not using QBO Advanced, you can find another app with the same function as the DocuSign app in the QuickBooks App Store.

I have QBO Advanced yet I can't find any app that even is remotely close to Docusign.  Where do I go from here?

Thank you for trying but I don't see an answer to my question in your response.  If you look at this entire thread it's all about integrating the third party app which is available through the app store.  There are explicit instructions given by the person on your team who first responded to the initial person posting and it starts:

I don't need to add the instructions, it's clear from what I copied in above this is doable.  Unless something changed from last July to now.  What I just copied in here from your team provides clarity that the DocuSign Connector app can be integrated.  The requirements are you must be a QBO Advanced user (which I am) and you must be a primary admin (which I am).  However, when I go to the apps area and do a search for the DocuSign eSignature Connector app there is none. Why is this?

After reading my initial post it's possible you misunderstood what I meant.

 

When I go to the app store I can find no Docusign app connector nor can I find any other app that's remotely like it.

 

I want the Docusign connector app and I have all the requirements in QBO but when I go to the app area in QBO there is no Docusign app to be integrated.

So the answer is there is no longer an integration with Docusign.

 

Additionally, when I click the link you mention there are instructions to do this for iOS and Android.  So, is the answer to that this can only be done on a mobile app and there's no feature in QBO to do this on the web?

Based on the QuickBooks application update, the DocuSign app is no longer supported or available in QuickBooks App lists. However, you can consider using another app with the same function as DocuSign in QuickBooks Apps Center.

 

On the other hand, please know that the signature capture feature is exclusive to the QBO app. To utilize this feature, consider installing it.

 

Additionally, if you need to disconnect a third-party app or transfer its ownership in the future, you can easily do this in QuickBooks.
