Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing steps so you can delete some sales data in QuickBooks Online. Then, ensure you find an alternative way to further achieve your goal. Also, send feedback so your suggestion is forwarded to the Product Development Team.
Invoice and Sales receipts are two different features with distinct functions in QuickBooks. With this, yes, you can mass delete sales invoices by going to the Invoices section.
Here's how:
- Go to the Sales menu on the left panel.
- Choose the Invoices tab.
- Select all invoices you want to delete by putting a checkmark on the box beside the date column.
- Click the Batch actions drop-down arrow at the top and choose Delete.
- You'll be prompted with Are you sure you want to delete invoices? This cannot be undone message. Click Yes to confirm.
On the other hand, deleting sales receipts by bunk is currently unavailable. Meanwhile, you can look and integrate a 3rd party app in QBO. This will help you delete sales receipts at once. Please follow the steps below.
- Click the Apps menu on the left panel.
- Choose the Browse category drop-down arrow and select Sync Data.
- Find a specific app in the search bar.
- Click the Get app now button. Then, follow the onscreen instructions to finish the process.
Additionally, I also suggest going to the Gear icon in QuickBooks Online. From there, you're able to choose Feedback to submit a request about deleting sales receipts by mass. Any recommendations are sent to our engineer for consideration in future updates.
