Can you have more than 1 net asset account or equity account?

It's a pleasure to have you here, @yolanda-galapago.

Yes, you can have more than one net asset or equity account in QuickBooks Online. In QuickBooks, you use these accounts to categorize your transactions from sales forms to reports to tax forms.

Here's how to add more accounts to your chart of accounts.

  1. Go to the Settings  menu and then choose Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click New to create a new account.
  3. In the Account Type ▼ dropdown, select an account type.
  4. In the Detail Type ▼ dropdown, select the detail type.
  5. Give your new account a name.
  6. Add a description.
  7. When you're done, click Save and Close.
