Cash Flow Planner - Prediction time frame

Hello,

I've just started using the Cash Flow Planner functionality.  Looks promising, however, I'm only getting "Predicted" entries for Sales two months out (current month and next month).  Is there any way that I can control how far out the system generates predictions?  I'd like to go a minimum of three months, but possibly six.

Thanks for your help.

Cash Flow Planner - Prediction time frame

It's impressive how you're thinking ahead and using the Cash Flow planner to predict future sales, Sea.

I can see how the benefit of forecasting sales beyond three months using the Cash Flow Planner would aid in managing and planning business transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'm sure other business owners like you would also want the option to set a time when to predict sales. However, this is currently unavailable in QBO. Don't worry, I'll help you relay this brilliant insight to our system developers. This way, they can consider your suggestion and include it in our future product updates.

Here's how to submit feedback:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under Profile, select Feedback.
  3. Enter a description of your feature request, then click Next.

Furthermore, we can add items in the Cash Flow planner for potential income and expenses. They can be part of the forecast, and we can see how certain modifications affect your cash flow. Please note that these aren't actual transactions and won't be included in your books.
