Centering the data in report columns

The Alignment or positioning of the report's header can only be changed to Standard, Left, Right, and Centered. You can do it within the report:

1. Open the report you need and click the Customize Report button.
2. Go to the Header/Footer tab and go the PAGE LAYOUT section.
3. Change the Alignment and click OK.

You can also make it default through the Preferences page.

1. Click Edit at the top menu and select Preferences.
2. In the Preferences window, select Reports & Graphs.
3. Go to the Company Preferences tab and click the Format button.
4. Change the Alignment under PAGE LAYOUT.
5. Click OK.

Other than that, you can do further customization of the report when exporting it to Excel. Note that these format customization cannot be bring in to QuickBooks. QuickBooks will always use the default set up and works as designed.
