I changed a class of an invoice from class A to Class B, I create a report of invoices of class B but the invoice that was changed does not move to class B, it remains on the report for class B. Please let me know what went wrong
Hi atuvy,
You'll want to double-check to see if you've saved the transaction and the change you did. If yes, you can do the basic browser troubleshooting steps like signing in using a private browser and clearing your browser's cache.
If the issue persists, you'll want to use a different browser to isolate the case.
Please don't hesitate to go back to this thread if you have other questions in mind. Take care and have a good one!
Did you change the class both on the top of the invoice and on the detail lines? If the Class column is visible on the invoice table, then each row will have its own class and so will need to be changed.
Thank you for the quick response, I am using a desktop version of quickbooks, so browser is not an issue I think
Thank you for the quick response, The class is visible only on the top, there is only one item per invoice and the class is not visible for the line
I changed the invoice format so it shows the class for each individual line and indeed the class was not the correct class, I was able to solve the problem, thank you for the advice
