I was cleaning up my chart of accounts. I had some sub accounts under one main account and was moving the sub accounts to their own main account. But now the previous main account has a balance (should be zero) and it says there are 32 transactions in there but I can't find them. I have checked the filters, reconciliation etc and can't see the transactions. Now if I go to the Balance Sheet report, it shows the correct amount. It is only on the COA screen that it shows an incorrect number.
As you can see there is a balance with 32 transactions in the below image. But no transactions anywhere. The total balance and the number of transactions are exactly double the balance and transactions of one of the old sub accounts.
Anyone have any ideas?

Hi there, PrimePorch.
I'm here to help you with your transactions.
It's possible that the reason why you can't see them is because of a browser error. There are a few steps I'd like you to perform so we can resolve this.
Let's first start by using an incognito window and check your Chart of Accounts from there. Next is by clearing the cache. This is a junk file that can cause issues in QuickBooks Online.
Lastly, make sure you have an updated browser. You can also use a different one if there's available. I suggest Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge.
