Chart of Accounts - Open Contractor Retention Amount

Thanks for asking us here in the Community, @alhmoto7. You can go to your account register to see the Opening Balance Equity account. 

Here's how:

1. Go to the Lists menu.
2. Select Chart of Accounts.
3. Search for and open the Opening Balance Equity account.

For future reference, you can also run a Vendor Balance Detail report to see the transactions that make up your current balance with each vendor. Check out this article to learn more about this process: Customize vendor reports in QBDT.
