Client and Service no longer showing on Timesheet PDF

Using QB Online. Our employees export their weekly Timesheets to send to their Supervisors by going to Print -> Save as PDF. 

Recently, the exported PDF stopped showing Customer and Service lines for each time entry. 

It is important information we need to be included. How do I bring it back?

Let's get this sorted out by performing some troubleshooting steps on how to fix unusual behavior in QuickBooks Online.


One of the possible reasons why isn't showing is that your browser stores frequently accessed data, thus causing QuickBooks Online (QBO), to act weirdly. Let's try accessing your QBO account using a private browser to check if it's a browser data issue.


Press this shortcut key on your keyboard to open a private browser:


  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N on your keyboard for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
  • Press Command + Shift + N for Safari.


If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh.


If you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different one.

Thank you for the response. 

I have tried the solutions you suggested without any results. 

Everyone in our company is experiencing the same issue. 


I even tried exporting to Excel. In there, the client name shows up, but not the Project name. For our purposes, having the project name and code is crucial. 


It looks like something changed with recent developments and we lost one of the features that is very important to our operations.

I understand how important the client and services line are to be included when printing timesheets. I also replicated this on my end and got the same result. Thus, I suggest you reach out to our Technical Support Team


They can pull up your account in a secure environment. Also, our phone representatives have tools that can access your account to reinvestigate the issue and can provide fixes immediately.


Here’s how to get in touch with them:


  1. Go to the (?) Help icon in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Select the Search tab, and click Contact Us.
  3. Enter a brief discussion of your concern and click Continue
  4. Select either Chat with us (if you preferred messaging) or Give us a call.


Please ensure to review their support hours to know when agents are available. This way, you can contact them at a time that is convenient for you.
