Cost to Complete by Job

Let's see what we can do about the report, sonyashaw.

Have you tried customizing the report? This'll allow you to add columns that are necessary for your report. Here's how to do it:

  1. Open the Cost to Complete by Job report you mentioned earlier.
  2. Click the Customize Report button and go to the Display tab.
  3. Mark the columns you want to add and click OK.
  4. You can export the report to Excel if necessary.

Here's a link that you can use for reference when customizing reports in QuickBooks Desktop: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

Keep us posted about this so we can help you get the data you need.

Cost to Complete by Job

I hope you're doing good, sonyashaw.

Let me help you show the actual cost.

Please ensure to set up the item cost, and the expense transaction is associated with the job. This way, the details will reflect on the report's actual Cost column.

If this won't work please contact QuickBooks Online Support to check on this issue. I'll be providing the steps on how you can reach them.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online Account.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. In QB Assistant, enter the topic you need help with. You can also enter questions.
  4. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.

I'm just a comment away if you need clarifications. Take care!
