Create new worksheet

The option to export a report into Excel to create new worksheet is no longer available.  I get 4 options but the first 3 are greyed out.  I have been doing this for years.  My only option is csv and I do not like how it gets exported into Excel.  Suggestions??

Thanks for checking in with us, NSSS.

I want to make sure you'll be able to export everything into Excel. Let's take a few steps to resolve this issue.

We can start by updating your QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release to keep your software up-to-date so you always have the latest features and fixes.

Before updating, it's important to check the system requirements for your specific version of QuickBooks Desktop (2021, 2022, or 2023) to ensure compatibility with your current version of Microsoft Office.

You can also check this article for the other steps: Fix export to Excel issues in QuickBooks Desktop.

Additionally, here's an article that lists the available Excel-based reports you can generate from QBDT and steps to create worksheets: Export reports as Excel workbooks in QuickBooks Desktop.

Aside from that, you can learn more about reports and customizations through this article: Understand Reports.

If you have any other questions about exporting your reports to Excel, let me know by adding a comment below. I've got your back, and I'm always here to help.
