Creating statements for Accounts Receivable

I am trying to batch print statements for ALL outstanding receivables, however, it leaves out anything over 2 years old.  I have followed all the steps that others have posted. I have used the dates of 1/1/2015  thru 7/11/2022 and it still leaves out anything older that 7/11/2021.

What the heck am I doing wrong???

I am new to QBO and so far have been very frustrated with it.  It is not very user friendly. I am considering going back to desktop version.

Creating statements for Accounts Receivable

Hi there, Lisamull.

I'll make sure you'll be able to print statements for all outstanding receivables in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

I've tried to replicate here on my end and I was able to see the transactions even from 3 years ago. There are times that the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, causing some unusual responses.

We can start by accessing your account in a private browser. This mode doesn't save your searches, visited pages, log in details, and cookies.

You can use the shortcut keys that I've listed below.

  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL Shift P
  • Safari: Press Command Shift N
  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL Shift

If it works, I suggest proceeding with clearing the cache. There are times too much data can accumulate over time and cause issues when utilizing QuickBooks.

However, if the issue continues, try using other supported browsers. It could be that the one you're currently working on has a temporary issue with QuickBooks.

For future reference about creating, managing, editing, and customizing your statements, you can also check this article link: Create and manage statements.

Feel free to reply here in Community if you have other concerns in printing statements QBO. I'll be their to help. Cheers!

Creating statements for Accounts Receivable

Hello, Lisa.

I appreciate your time in doing the steps given by my colleague. We'd like to get to the bottom of this issue and fix it and ensure you'll be able to print all of your outstanding receivables.

Since clearing the cache doesn't work, and the date range is correct, you'll want to contact our support at this point.

One of our agents will take a look at your account securely, and check what's preventing you from creating the statement data older than June 11, 2021.

Here's how to reach them:

  1. Click the Help menu.
  2. On the pop-up panel, go to the Search tab.
  3. Click the Contact Us button.
  4. In the text box, type something like "unable to create statements for over two years ago."
  5. Click Continue, then choose how you want to reach us (phone or chat).

After resolving the issue with our support, I'll add this article in case you need help recording those invoice payments: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online

In case you need help running your reports for invoices, payments and other financial data, this article will guide you through the steps and details: Run reports in QuickBooks Online

I'm all ears if you have other questions in managing your customer transactions in QuickBooks. If you do have any other tasks you need to take care of, let me know and I'll lend a hand again.
