Are annual credit card fees for American Express considered a) bank charges or b) dues and subscriptions? Will it be the same for the annual credit card fee for an airline related credit card where travel miles or points are accrued (i.e. United Airlines)?
rewards, any kind, that are accumulated on teh statement for a CC or ?? are not an accounting entry until you use them. When you use them the reward is income (Other Income) and deposited to a cash type bank account and then you post the expense paying it from the cash account
