Join nowhow do i get the number of credit weeks in a quarter period to show in a report for employees ?
Hello, @geraconcrete54.
I hope your evening is going well so far. To properly assist you with your question, what credit weeks are you referring to specifically? After I've received this information, I'll be able to determine the best answer for your business.
In the meantime, you can try to customize the report to see if that helps. Here's how:
It's that easy.

the weeks the employees have worked in a quarter period...as from january to march. which would be 12. how do i show this in a report. I know it can be done just forgot how to do it....it was a little complicated...which some things with QB are. OR some things we had with QB are gone. You change stuff.
Thanks for getting back with additional information, geraconcrete54.
I'd be happy to help you get the report you need. Let's run the Employee Time & Cost report in QuickBooks Desktop. This provides your employees timesheet information and you can customize the date by quarter. I'll show you how to do it below:

not what I am looking for. I do not keep track of time and jobs on QB. This can be done. If only I could get back to my early questions where it was answered but I cant and no one seems to know the answer now. QB has changed for me for the worst. It seems you worry about certain types of businesses as retail etc and not others and take out what we use and give us what we dont use anymore.
thumbs down to your solution charies it suks
let me put this simple for you. I need it to display in reports for payroll and employees...weeks like hours, rate......
Thanks for the details, @geraconcrete54.
You can use the payroll summary report and filter it to show in weeks. Let me walk you through how.
With these steps, you're able to view your employees' payroll in weeks, hours, and rates. You can learn about creating payroll summary report at this link: Create a payroll summary report.
We also have a guide on Excel based payroll reports that I'm sure you'll find helpful. It contains several Excel reports available in QuickBooks and the steps on how to generate them.
That's all there is to it. Let me know if you have other questions or concerns. I'll be here to help you every step of the way. Take care and have a lovely weekend ahead.
