Custom report for job costs

Is there a way to create a custom report that contains the same information that is on the P&L by Job report but switches the columns and rows around.  In other words, a report that would list the income/expenses in columns and then list the customers down the rows.

Yes, there's a way to create a custom report for Profit and Loss that lists the customers in rows, @BernieJ

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Select Custom Reports and choose Summary.
  3. Click on the Customize Report button.
  4. In the Display tab, modify the date period.
  5. Under the Columns section, select Income Statement in the Display columns by drop-down menu.
  6. Then, select Customer in the Display rows by drop-down list.
  7. Click OK.

 

Also, you'll want to memorize this report to save its current customization settings. Just click on the Memorize button and enter a report name.
