I'm here to share some insights about customizing invoice templates.
In QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), you can customize your template by customizing the templates from one company file to another. Then, import it. However, downloading a custom DES file and importing it to QBDT is not an option. As a workaround, you may consider using a third-party app to help you manage your customized invoice templates. You can check a third-party application by visiting this website: https://desktop.apps.com/home.
We recognize that each company has unique needs, and I can see how these features would benefit and empower your business. That said, I recommend sending this request straight to our product engineers through feedback. Sharing features and options that you would like implemented is how our engineers look for new product updates.
To send feedback, here's how:
- Go to the Help menu at the top.
- Select Send Feedback Online.
- Click Product Suggestion.
- Choose a feedback type and product area on the QuickBooks Feedback window.
- Enter your suggestion or feedback, name, and email address (optional).
- Once done, click on the Send Feedback button.
