I see the point of going into the storage file instead of editing each invoice. However, we don't have this level of information here in the QuickBooks Support Community.
I recommend reaching out to our developer's support. They have in-depth information about the movements of data in our QuickBooks program, particularly the phone number information entered on the invoice page.
