Is there a way I can print a group of customer list according to their customer types? For example i have 10 customers who are type A and 10 are type b. I only want to print the type A but QB dont give me the option to sort it that way. The costumer type column shows all the types. I only want to print type A. Please help.

To answer your question, Aboo. Yes, there are ways you can print a list of customers by their type in QuickBooks by sorting them. I'll show the step-by-step process for both modern and classic views below.

In the modern view, here's how:

  1. Open QuickBooks and go to the Reports section.
  2. In the search bar, type in Customer Contact List.
  3. Navigate to Columns, then check the Type box to display different customer types.
  4. Go to the Filter option and select Type.
  5. Choose Contains
  6. Enter the specific customer types you want to filter.
  7. Click X to close the filter, then navigate to More Actions to print.

In the classic view, here's how:

  1. Navigate to Switch Classic View.
  2. Select Customize.
  3. Click the Filter dropdown, then the Customer Type dropdown.
  4. Choose the specific type of customer you want to show.
  5. Hit the Run report to generate the report below and the Print icon to print the report. image (14).png
