Looking for simplest way to do a physical count of inventory using QB. Our business has 10 inventory locations and each location has bins within the location. Some of these locations have hundreds of bins within their sites. We sell juice that is stored in containers and stashed away on a shelves with a specific numbering system. Because there are so many bin locations within these sites (around 500 total) QB doesn't seem to do a good job with cycle count filtering. I am unable to filter a cycle count with bin locations. Our bins are numbered in order so a physical inventory count includes beginning with 1-A-1, 1-A-2, 1-A-3 and so on. It seems the only filtering that can be done in the cycle count is by item alphabetically. This is no help. I need to be able to do cycle counts starting from A-Z rather than going item to item within 500 bin locations and constantly scrambling back and forth within the inventory location to find each specific bin.
Not sure if anyone can make sense of this but it is extremely frustrating that I cannot seem to find a way to do a physical count in QB starting from A-Z. I need to be able to filter bin locations from start to finish that would replicate the direction a physical count would be done within our inventory sites.

Has there been any update regarding the concern? Our warehouse is set up similar and there is no way to start at one shelf and continue until that section is complete. We try and cycle count weekly but physically typing ever part is tedious and quite frankly a waste of man hours.
No updates unfortunately! You are still limited to only sorting by item in the cycle count which seems stupid to me. We have been recording every transfer and build as accurately as possible and are still recording physical counts withing an excel spreadsheet and then comparing to QB inventory rather than using cycle counts which i would love to start using......
Shocking, it seems every commonsense problem posted on here is replied to with... Our engineers haven't gotten to it yet, make a suggestion. I'd believe QB is big enough to have more than 2 engineers working on issues.
